Greetings!
My wife and I plan on leaving our jobs next year for an extended period of time to travel and enjoy the culture of various places around the globe. We are highly skilled and educated individuals currently residing in the United States (Atlanta, GA). For some portions of our trip, we would like to hold a job, not only to help supplement some of our travel expenses, but also to immerse ourselves in the local culture and create a meaningful connection with the local people. Some ideas we have initially regarding the types of jobs we would like to take are (1) Teaching English business or conversational, (2) Hospitality cooking, wait staff, catering and (3) Business consulting. We are highly qualified and can do many things including web design, process improvement, bookkeeping, etc.
We are currently in the planning stages of our trip, and I am building up our contacts for jobs at various locations where we would like to stay. Some job opportunities require lengthy contracts, which we will not be able to fully fulfill due to time limitations on our trip. We are willing to engage in contracts up to 3 months in length.
The main reason for this contact is that we are highly qualified, diverse and passionate people. Despite the limitations on our commitments, we feel we could make a beneficial impact to any organization we are apart of, and are open to any options that you may have where we can add value for yourself and/or your organization.
If you could please provide me with information on employment options available at your organization that may fit within our limitations, I would be very grateful. We also invite any thoughts and/or advice that you may feel inclined to offer. I have attached a picture and our resumes for your review.
