Manali is visiting friends in New York this weekend, so I sat down and put together a brief highlight video of our India Wedding, documenting the couple of days leading up to and including the wedding ceremony. My favorite is when the cloth between Manali and I is lowered, revealing her to me for the first time. Her beauty blew me away, and I remember being filled with overwhelming excitement, coupled with a sense of blessing and wonder that we were about to pledge our lives to each other. I also love where the percussion first comes in as we catch of glimpse of Manali’s Mom (Kalpana) on the dance floor.
We had such an amazing experience, and it will never be forgotten. I always miss India after watching videos or looking at pictures from our wedding and trip and can’t wait for our next visit.
We have some footage from our tour to New Dehli, Agra, Jaipur and Mumbai so I’ll try and get that up here to share at some point in the near future.

It shocks me to think it [...]

As Told By Terry

I was playing around a little bit with our wedding footage, and came up with this kind of whispy effect. I like it. My less artistic wife is not quite sold on it yet.Atlanta Wedding from Terry Bettendorf on Vimeo.
