Hands down, the BEST budget guesthouse in southeast Asia.

(2) Treehouse Lodge – Koh Chang, Thailand

My favourite beach bar in the world, rustic and atmospheric.

(3) Pinocchio Guest House – Sapa, Vietnam

In Sapa the view is everything and Pinocchio is all about the view.

(4) Sea View Resort – Koh Phangan, Thailand

The best huts actually on the Haad Rin sand.

(5) Serenity Bungalows – Koh Phangan, Thailand

Simple bungalows with amazing views of Haad Rin.

(6) Tie and Milly Sunflower Bar – Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

The prettiest beach bar in the world.

(7) YaYa Resort – Railay, Thailand

Tree house like tower blocks with regular visits from local monkeys.

(8) Komala Indah 2 – Kuta Bali, Indonesia
