We just heard that there have been MAJOR floods back home
All water levels are at the highest in history and there have been a few casualties. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers! We don’t want to have to come back to mop up the mess! We are praying that the worst part has past, the National Weather Service forecasters have reported a 24-hour precipitation count measuring near 12 inches! So unpredictable considering that we’ve had a drought for 3 years!

Adjacent to “Old Shanghai” area we visited Yu Garden and the surrounding Bazaar. Admission to the gardens, which are quite expansive was 40 Yuan each. Listen up folks! If and when you come to China, you simply MUST see The Great Wall, all 8,851 km of it! Okay, not the whole thing! Just arrived, but feel the electricity of this city buzzing through us, propelling us and giving us a bit of city excitement we haven’t felt probably since Tokyo. Hong Kong is like a merge of Tokyo and Beijing, with a little bit of New York thrown in for attitude. More later!
