Hope you and Arun are well! Ah, the rain made it all that more exciting! No worries. We actually stayed in a hostel with a 3 minute walk to Bangla Soi, which was good for getting there, but comfortably safe to stay away from the noise among other things. Bangla Soi had the prettiest ladies boys we have seen thus far in Thailand! We are typically too tired to do any kind of crazy partying, so we see things in the "bar zones" passing through, but we know what you are talking about. ;-) The people watching here is the greatest, and in places like Bangla, I could walk up and down that street all night, just looking and watching folks.
